DFW TROJAN SCHOLARSHIPS
Thanks to the generous support from our members, the DFW Trojans is able to offer scholarships each year to prospective Trojans from the North Texas Area.
Did you know that Texas is second only to California in numbers of students sent to USC? We hope to help continue this trend by offering scholarships to talented area students interested in attending or currently attending the University.

Where/When/How Should I Donate My Money?
There has been some confusion in the past concerning charitable giving to the DFW Trojans scholarship funds versus giving directly to the various University scholarship programs. Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to clarify some of the most frequently asked questions.
Q: IS GIVING MONEY TO A DFW TROJAN SCHOLARSHIP FUND TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
A: Absolutely. It is a 100% tax deductible donation. We are a chartered alumni organization and fall under the University of Southern California’s non-profit status.
Q: WILL I GET RECOGNIZED BY THE UNIVERSITY AS DONATING IF I GIVE TO DFW TROJANS?
A: Yes. We are required to submit records annually of all donations made to the DFW Trojans scholarship funds.
Q: HOW MANY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS DOES DFW TROJANS OFFER?
A: Two. The traditional DFW Trojans Scholarship and the Bob Arrington Scholarship.
Q: HOW CAN I DONATE?
A: In one of three ways. You can simply click one of the links below to make a contribution online. OR you can mail a check to the address on the left. Finally, you can participate in our annual fund-raising event.
An Easy
Way To Give
Charitable giving through DFW Trojans is simple, safe and a great way to help future Trojans secure the solid educational foundation that USC offers.
DFW Trojans hosts two outstanding scholarship programs, as well as a simple way to give directly to the school or program of your choice. To give, please read on and follow the instructions below.
We thank you in advance for your generous gift.
ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Alumni Scholarship awards a minimum of $1000 of educational assistance to deserving students who have demonstrated superior personal and scholastic accomplishments as determined by our board and who have completed the required application and personal interview.
BOB ARRINGTON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Our single largest and most prestigious award is the Bob Arrington Memorial Scholarship. This award raises the bar for our scholarship program – not just for the level of requirements, but for the amount of the prize, as well.
This new program awards a prize of several thousand dollars in financial assistance to a single student who not only meets a variety of scholastic criteria, but whose life exhibits the qualities and character as exemplified by Bob Arrington. This scholarship may not be awarded every year and the recipient is determined by an extensive review by our board.
NOTE: All scholarship programs are non-renewing and must be applied for each year.
